PARSIPPANY, NJ, June 2, 2005 — Quadrant
HealthCom is pleased to announce that Donna Sickles, Corporate Circulation
Director, has won the prestigious 2005 ABM Circulation Career Award.
Ms. Sickles, a circulation professional with 20 years of experience in both controlled
and paid circulation, oversees all subscriber promotion, fulfillment/BPA audit
processes for Quadrant’s medical journals and distribution processes for
the journals and special projects. Donna was nominated for the award by the Quadrant
sales team and was selected to receive the award by a judges panel that included
representation from industry associations including ABM, BPAW, NTCFI, MFA, and
WFA.
Ms. Sickles, a past chair and current member of ABM’s Circulation
Committee, was presented the award by 2004 winner Gloria Adams, Director
of Audience Development, PennWell Corporation, at the ABM 2005 Spring
Meeting held in Boca Raton, FL. this past month. When presenting the
award, Gloria recognized Donna's recent accomplishment, the creation
of a merged database for all Quadrant customers including journal subscribers,
advertisers, web site registrants, and enewsletter subscribers. Donna
extended thanks to the Quadrant sales team, the judges’ panel,
and ABM for making the honor possible. She discussed her two terms as
chair of the ABM Circulation Committee and the revision of the committee's
mission statement during that period and expressed her hopes of participating
in that mission for some time to come.
The award will be presented again June 16th at the Circulation Management
Conference in New York City, so that Donna can celebrate with her peers.
The American Business Circulation Career Award was recently created to
recognize an outstanding circulation professional in the world of business-to-business
publishing. This award is presented annually to recognize an individual’s
total contribution to the circulation profession. Individuals must possess
a proven record of circulation accomplishment, have formulated circulation
policies and directed circulation activities for one or more business publications,
have maintained the highest circulation standards, and advanced ABM's tradition
of initiative, leadership and integrity.
Quadrant HealthCom is proud of Donna’s outstanding contributions to the
company and to the circulation profession through her focused, dedicated, and
unwavering efforts. Her ability to think through complicated processes, develop
logical strategies, create new methods for achieving results, as well as implement
and manage the details to successful, cost effective outcomes is what has earned
her this recognition and we congratulate her on her accomplishments.
