PARSIPPANY, NJ November 6, 2006 — Quadrant HealthCom Inc. is pleased to announce that Dr. James Felicetta has joined Federal Practitioner™ as Editor-in-Chief. Dr. Felicetta brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to Federal
Practitioner™. Since 1987, he has served as Chairman of the
Department of Medicine at the Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center in Phoenix
and Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of Arizona. In this
capacity, he directs the clinical, teaching, and research activities of
a very large academic department, which conducts joint internships, residencies,
and fellowships with its primary affiliation, Banner Good Samaritan Regional
Medical Center in Phoenix. This month also marks the establishment of the Federal Practitioner™ Editorial Advisory Association. Composed of 22 clinical leaders from within and outside the federal health care system, this association reflects the diversity and broad scope of the journal. "I am delighted to have the privilege of leading Federal Practitioner™ as we strive to take the journal to new heights," says Dr. Felicetta. "I am confident that the outstanding Editorial Advisory Association that has been assembled will provide me with the advice and the expertise needed to make Federal Practitioner™ one of the finest journals available to those who take care of patients in the federal system."
